Sauna
So i have a sauna at my house and was thinking about using it. I drink about 7L of water a day. If i went in the sauna would it burn some calories and sodium and i would lose alot of my waterweight even though i just rehydrate my body back? Are there any advantages of using a sauna when i'm trying to bulk? I want to get rid of my waterweight but i know i still need to drink alot. Can somebody help me !

i think it was the germans or something like that, they used to go in teh sauna to help ther muscles relax and suppsly it helps with recovery. ive dont it a bunch of times when i went to a fitness center that had one. honestly it donest make much of a differnce or a noticalbe one in that area. however its great for your skin if you have accne, it helps sweat out toxins, yeah it does burn calories why do you think you sweat so much? it wont help a great deal on fat loss since its dehydrating you so you only lose water weight. this is why its not the best idea to go in or stay in long time after you lift. you already sweat out so much from training you risk dehydration. so if you go in after a workout 10-15 minutes tops is good

It generally isn't recommended to use a sauna directly after a workout. 3 hours afterwards is perfect. It should help with recovery, especially aches and pains after a heavy session. Use it for about 10-15 mins, take a cold shower and then repeat.
Sauna's do burn calories, but only a few directly through sweating. The main calorie burning effect is achieved by raising the body's core temperature. This effectivly increases your metabolism slightly and the effects should last even after you leave the sauna. The calorie burning effects of a sauna, however, are minimal. You would be better off doing some cardio, which is much more effective.

I think I know what you're thinking of. I read that it's beneficial to change the temperature of your post-workout shower from as-cold-as-you-can-bear to as-hot-as-you-can-stand, repeating over and over, while directing the shower to the muscle group you've just trained.
This is supposed to increase the blood flow to the area and aid recovery and growth. Whether it works or not i don't know. Give it a try.
