    Syntha 6 Bad?

    My 5lb tub of Twinlab Whey is almost finished and I am considering taking a different whey, but as I was searching around the bb.com store, I noticed that Syntha 6 has 15g of carbs per scoop whereas most other powders have 2 or fewer...Is Syntha 6 a bad protein powder? is there better?
    Current weight: 225 @ about 19-20% BF

    Stopped lifting for a while...lost most of my results...time to get back into the game

    its badass protein. not as high in protein as some of the others but if you are going by taste, it beats everything else...id go with muscle milk, that stuff is good.

    Syntha-6 is a casein blend that is sustained release meaning that is not good to take after workouts. Take an isolate after your workout. Syntha-6 is great before bed because its I believe a 7 hour sustained release. Good product...but not PWO.

    Syntha 6 has an AMAZING TASTE. If your looking for some fast acting, BCAA rich protein, stick to whey. However, Syntha 6 has caseins (no soy THANK GOD) and some whey in it, so it has a time release effect. If you take it in the morning it takes you a LONG time to get hungry again, (though eating every 3 hours is mandatory in my opinion) it just saves that hunger. It contains some fats though, however, from good sources. It also complains complex carbs (from oats I beleive?)

    Wait, since syntha 6 is slow release, would it be good to take in the morning for a long lasting effect through the day???

    I heard that you store in fats you take in while you sleep?
    What would be wrong with it taking it in the morning?

    ya I have to admit syntha 6 is great I have banana flavor...tastes great on its own....I put a table spoon of nesquick in aswell tasted like a chocolate banana milkshake

    I'm gonna have to start carrying it around with me cuz its almost I'm possible for me eat right during the day...also if any knows if astro phex works well let me know...

    also I'm cutting if anybody has any good supps they recommend for a cut plz share

    you should be getting protein from other sources throughout the day, i hope thats not the only high protein meal u have...
