    if ur gym has those hex DBs that are smaller it could perhaps work but those little ones only go up to 20s

    dude this is a possible invention- get a patent for us

    I don't get it, why not do barbell shrugs? I've made huge gains doing just those for traps.

    Obviously an art or engineering major .
    Actually I think if you used a loop of 1 in. tubular nylon webbing to connect the db's it would work great (used in rock climbing, rope rescue, etc.)

    I'll take some with me to the gym this week and see how it works. Photos to come (I'll spare you my etch-a-sketch ability)...

    I am just over halfway through book 2 now, loving it so far. I am 3 years older than you, but I did not 'discover' the DT series until a few weeks ago, even though my father-in-law has been prodding me to read them for a while now.

    What's the DT series about tech? I have way too much spare time, should probably start reading. Honestly, the last 5 books I've read are Harry Potter 1,2,3,4,5. Any other book I read the cliff notes. I wonder why I got kicked out of HS and had a 1.9 GPA

    It is about this guy named Roland, the last gunslinger (a form of a governmental police squad, if you will) of his time. He is on a quest to reach the Dark Tower. The books are mini-stories about his journey to the tower, and to confront whoever is in it.

    Comments: Awesome workout. Pretty sore from yesterday, hampered my pressing movements a bit, but I just had to block that out. Incline work felt really solid. Shoulders were great. Seated presses were tough since I did them right after my incline work. Triceps were strong. Starting to get back into the groove of things.

    Thanks YL. On incline and seated DB I stop at 90-100 degrees - anything lower just puts unnecessary stress on my shoulders. Decline presses I go as deep as I can usually.

    thats cool, thats what I figured as thats what I see some people do, anyway I give you props for getting so many reps on the 120s, I tried them the other day and got only like 1 or 2 all the way down reps, maybe Ill start doing what you do, i dont care for dumbell bench though, I like barbell bench now, thats what I do i rarely dumbell bench these days, i just wanted to how i progressed on it

    I am not a big fan of flat db pressing either, but no barbell press movement can match the growth that db's have put on my chest. As for going 'all the way down' - I had a dislocated shoulder in highschool that gave me problems for a few years afterwards. I used to go all the way down on incline db presses, but it started to agitate my shoulders to the point where the presses were painful to do. Once I stopped my motion at 90 degrees, or slightly lower, the pain ceased and has not returned. The same goes for flat db presses, but decline presses I can go all the way down without issues. Comparatively though, I do not think that the extra inch or two of ROM makes much of a difference in terms of chest growth, as you start bringing your shoulders into the movement more at the bottom than anything.

    thanks, I wanted to do more on seated db's, but this was my first time doing them in a few months, and my delts were already pretty blasted from my incline presses :\

    Started megadosing Xtend again today. My plan is 2 servings on off days, 4-6 on 'on' days. The watermelon flavor is incredible.

    The UPS inspectors raped my shipment box today though, apparently someone wrote SHIEK 2006 on the side of the box and that must have tripped some red-flags. The box came to my door smashed up, unpacked, and hanging open. Supplements were all OK though

    Sounds cool..... once the watermelon flavor comes in the 1kg+ size, I might consider doing the same..... pretty pricey, but all/most of the reviews are very possitive thus far

    Yeah, I picked up 2 of the smaller containers, ill burn through those and see if I notice any drastic changes.
