Hi
well Im only on a week and so far nothing noticable as far as side effects..It seems like my stomach is taking it ok. I know alot of times I have issues with creatine with making my stomach crampy.I havent read anything about sides..heres something I found on it. http://www.nutriscienceusa.com/productinfo_tribulus.htm
its funny some studies say it does NOTHING for exercise and muscle building then the next webpage it praises...so not sure if its all marketing or what..but...
I guess MAINLY in asian culture for centuries this is used as a male/female sexual libido enhancer..so if any side will come from it I wont complain with that one LOL
let me know if you have any benefit once you start!

update
Just thought I would update anyone interested in this. So far nothing...but I will continue because it isn't harming anything - lol. No sides or anything. I'm not a big vitamin popper because they usually make me sick. Nothing with this stuff.

Maybe I was mistaken, But I was under the impression that Trib was for increasing Libido in guys?
Maybe just because it boosts testosterone..

I originally began taking Tribulus to see if it would reduce my monthly cramps, which were extremely painful. The first three months were so much better and the only thing different I was doing was taking Tribulus. While taking it, I noticed my libido went crazy through the roof! I have since gotten birth control pills to better regulate Aunt Flo's visits yet I keep taking Tribulus because I like what it does for my libido.

I think your money could be better spent with other supplements. I honestly don't think that a test booster is going to be much benefit to women. Why not get a good creatine and see if that works for you?

Article about Tribulus in the new issue of 'Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness'
I only just bought the magazine the other day and haven't read it straight through yet, but there is a two-page article in the new (August 2007) issue of NB&F that I actually looked over that deals with tribulus. It said something about tribulus really only being effective within the human system when there are adequate levels of "protodioscin" present with the tribulus (another extract from the plant that apparently isn't always included in all tribulus supplement formulas). So you might want to check that article out for yourself if you want some more info about the extract, and make sure your tribulus is 'delivering' for you the way you want it to.

Did your breast tissue need solving or did it dissolve? Is that like de-learning or un-learning something? How do you un-solve something? Is it like erasing the answers to the crossword puzzle?

I've read that trib is not good for women, that it is extremely androgenic and could cause problems...
Maybe I am wrong?

Might I recommend 7-keto...it is much better than Tribulus Terrestris for females. The only side effect to 7-keto, which to me is not really a side effect, is that it increases your sexual energy & desire a lot.
Read up....

Tribulus has been shown in studies to do nothing for men, let alone women.
A study in the Journal Strength Conditioning Research (21:348-353,2007) showed that tribulus had NO EFFECT on strength, fat free mass, or t/e ratio during a 5 week treatment on Rugby players.
Another study done by Dr. Jose Antonio found that tribulus had NO EFFECT on strength or body composition. (Intl J Sports Nut Ex Metab, 10:208, 2000)
Bulgarian scientists found that tribulus had NO EFFECT on testosterone, LH or androstenedione in young men. (J Ethnopharm, August 2005)
It may raise serum test (sperm) but does nothing for free test.

I've taken it a few times and by the second week my libido goes crazy that's really the only reason I take it.

I have taken trib a few times over the last few years. I don't really think it does much. But it is hard to tell cause I have never taken it on its own. I mean i take a bunch of other vitamins, creatine..... So it would be hard to tell. But if you are looking for major results, you wont get it from trib. It is not a steroid.
