Hi, I'll be staying 4 days/month in both downtown Chicago and Jersy City, NJ.
Any gyms that can be recommended? ( I have only public transport available )
Thx.

Stats: 5'9", 235lbs (when I was competing....now a svelte 225lbs)
Squat: 600lbs ( with gear)...
540lbs (raw)
Bench: 350lbs (raw)
Deadlift: 624lbs (raw)
Goals: Stay healthy, and don't break anything
Life 4 years post powerlifting competions:
Squat-475lbs
Bench-I can't bench anymore, rotator cuff injury
Deadlift-500lbs (these are all regular gym lifts now)
Goals: I'm older now so don't do nothing stupid and break something.

that wasnt serious was it. Lancer was it?
VI your not a powerliftinger are you? If you are go read powerlifting usa over a couple times and then come back.
As lancer put it quads gym is home of the one and only ed coan. You know who that is right. Were i just seen a mid 40's guy (ed) rep 445 raw like it was going out of style. this is were he deadlifts 800lbs raw off of a 100lb plate. there is chalk flying. nothing but the sound of jacked music and metal against metal. a true powerlifters home. i drive over an hour just to work out
