They always seem to fall apart in the Bullpen and in the rotation... injuries and not even depth within the roster...
Very deep team... Big time play makers...
Little David Eckstein really impressed me.
Lemme ask you... why did the Cubs own the Cardinals again in the all time series last year?
To be honest i don't recall the Sox being good the past 10 years.

How does it feel to know that your favorite team will never win a world championship?
Why is wrigley field not a landfill yet, or at least a new stadium?
Why did the cubs not keep Pierre and put soriano in left?
What would you do if you saw Bartman?
god i hate the cubs

I love Lou Piniella (huge Mariners fan) and I think he'll improve the club. I usually bet one of my best friends Mariners vs Cubs for overall best record (been getting pwned recently) so I usually root against them. But with Lou as their skipper, I'm torn...

Cubs are, have been and always will be my favorite team. Now why the first 8 games of the season have the disappointed me, their offense hasnt done sh*t. The only couple of players I have to say has been doing ok have been D. Lee and A. Ramirez. I really cant believe they spent $300,000,000 and have done so terrible so far. If they dont make the Playoffs I dont know what I'm gonna do. Ever since I was like 6 years old going to the games with my Brother they have disappointed me, but every year since then I go to the games, I watch the games, I record the games I cant watch and watch them before I check the scores, I have like 30 t-shirts, about 5 hoodies, 3 jackets, 8 hats, 7 pairs of shorts, and even like 4 pairs of boxers and I just bought some Reebok tennis shoes with the Cubs "C" on the side of them. Soriano has been disappointing so far aswell as Zambranos pitching and almost everyone else on offense. I get off work at 8am and wont get to sleep until 10 or so because I have bills to pay, but I will be up at 1pm to watch the game from beginning to end, and they better win. Losing the first 2 to the Astros after the Astros only scored like 16 runs in their first 6 games is very sh*tty.

I'm gonna give them a chance, I'm gonna give them a chance every year for the next 60, or however long I live. And I will say this, if they do make the World Series, I will be there, probably every game, because although I hope its not gonna be their one and only, it might be, and I'm not gonna miss it. I had big hopes coming into this season, not that they still cant turn it around and win 90+ games, I just get frustrated when the start off this slow, I get very worried and pretty pissed off when I see what their doing wrong and when I see them lose. I hope your right and they do turn it around, I know its early, but they need to get above .500 and stay there, then I will be happy.
