Hey man at least you're honest.
Being all that I can be is simply not good enough. I will be better.
Body building is 40% lifting, 40% diet and 40% sleep. And it's always going to be 120% dedication.
Power lifters eat to help them lift.
Body Builders lift to help them eat.

I find it disheartening that no one has commented on my intercostals.

However, if you are referring to your oblilques, then I will be forced to taunt you again. Obliques are usually only visible if your body fat is below 8%, and you appear to be at least twice, if not three times that. Me thinks you are mistaking fat for muscle.

I think he is trying to be funny, note my emphasis on "TRYING". This kind of post annoys me, many people on this site are workinging hard to improve their form and thier health. I do not appreciate someone making a mockery of somethins to which I have dedicated so much.
So please, for the sake of all involved, put your shirt on....your boobs are turning me on......

This may be largely due to the fact that the only way to view one's intercostal muscles would be to view them from the inside, since they are covered by several major muscles. (look here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/absbig.jpg )

My physique is not as bad as some pics I've seen posted here. No love handles, no belly, and not overweight. My bodyfat is around 13%.
The only flaw is fatty tissue around the nipples.

You look just like I did before I started working out, so I think I'm qualified to judge
At 13% you should have some definition, and certainly no fat rolls, you look like 15-20%, probably on the high end. It is hard to tell from that picture but it looks like you have a layer of fat covering your entire upper body.
