I'm begining to bulk. Is shooting for 18 times bodyweight for calories eaten per day accurate? I was told this before, but I only weight 135lbs so it doesn't seem like a ton.
The formula is 18-20, but that's just in general - your bulk depends on your body. Things that affect your caloric needs include height, age, weight, and level of activity.

Eat however much it takes to to gain weight. If you don't gain weight, then eat more, if you gain to much weight, eat less. Just make adjustments when necessary.
