Question How many calories should I be consuming?

I'm 19, I work out 6 days of the week for 1 to 1-and-a-half hours at a time. My diet is clean most of the time. I'm trying to put on muscle while reducing stubborn body fat.

About how many calories should I consume daily?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I should probably also note: Right now I'm consuming about 1250-1300 calories per day. Is that too low? I have been doing pretty good with getting 1 gram of protein for each pound of my bodyweight, but often I cut a little short (I weigh 133 lb).

dang ur cal consumation is way to low!!!! ull die at that rate, me myself i ake in 3000 calories a day and maintain my weight...

You id say jump up to atleast!!! 2300 calories a day. 2000 for the avg daily needed caloreis for a normal sedentary person, and 300 cals which equals an hour of average workout activity, thats how i got 2300, which you need atleast...

please take in more calories your canobolizing your body, youd have more toned, and betetr muscle mass if youd eat better, and youd just gain muscle weight.

Peace-

Seems pretty low. I would up them, but don't just jump right up....do it gradually, a little each week and keep track of your progress. To gain muscle, you need to eat!

Thanks for the ideas. I'll definitely try to increase my calorie intake.

calories way too low. Not even the average person should go below 1200 and you're eating only 100 above this and are 19 (still growing), very active and quite slim already. You need to calculate maintenance calories (plenty of calculators online. DO NOT forget to factor in exercise) and subtract 200-300 for cutting, vice versa bulking. How much cardio do you do and what does you weights routine look like? What is your pre and post workout nutrition?

Aim for 1-1.5g protein/ lb of bodyweight
NO LESS THAN 20% of total calories should come from fats
