I have been trying to find a sports bra that supports "bigger" breasts...and by "bigger" I mean a size "D" (no implants, so they are waaaaaaay bouncy). I am tired of jogging or doing aerobics and being annoyed with them bouncing all over the place. It's uncomfortable and it's embarrasing. The only thing I've found to do is wear two sports bras together or wear a support bra underneath one regular sports bra. My 4 yr. old daughter thinks is hilarious watching me try on sports bras in the dressing room and jump up and down to see how bouncy they are going to be...lol... I just cannot find one that's supportive enough. I want them to be still and not move!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? My husband recommended an ace bandage...which I haven't tried yet.

I have an aerobics instructor for one of my classes and she is a 34D - she wears 2-3 bras on over the other. Usually a regular sports bra (like a normal bra but extra supportive) followed by one or two of the coloured Nike, Adidas etc style tops.

I came across a website the other day (I think it is English) called LessBounce.com which specialises in sports bras. They certainly had lots of 36DD and bigger.

Good luck. I'm a size C and can't find anything that fits. I just wear my Playtex 18-hour bra and it's "ok." I'm not sore after running in it and I don't bounce around so I doubt I'm stretching any ligaments. It has 4 snaps on the back so it's pretty strong, and it's attractive, too. I hate to try on clothes so I made the mistake of buying an extra large sports bra at Dick's Sporting Goods. I think it was $38 or so. It is WAY too small. I kept it though. Sure it will fit as I keep weight training. Two bras could be a way to go for size D. Lastly, consider sports/cardio that don't bounce you around. Treadmill on an incline will burn up the fat. Machines are great. You really don't want the flopsies. I see women half my age with sagging boobs - gross! Have you tried any of the Playtex bras? You can usually get them on sale.

LOL......well, my boobs are floppy from not wearing bras for so long and nursing two babies 21 and 17 years ago. My problem was finding anything that would fit across my back AND still support whatever I had at 240-260lbs at the time.
I had forgotten what my bra size was years ago. Anything I found big enough to fit across my back was too big in cup size. Nothing "nice" was made in my size.
I now weigh far less but where I lost the fat in my back...I still have a broad back genetically and having built up muscle from lifting. Back to square one......I have found sport bras that fit well enough and keep me from flopping too much. At least now, I can look through the Playtex and should find something that fits...and support what I have left.

Ugh, I don't want the flopsies either!!! I was going to play soccer this y ear but I don't want to get saggy boobs....is it better to stop all impact stuff? anyone have any advice?????? I'm a D or a DD.........
I don't know what you can do to keep from bouncing around and knocking yourself out. I used to work with a lady whose daughter was in the Miss Texas and Miss USA contests. Those girls tape their boobs somehow. I don't know if it would hold up during soccer though. You'd probably look like you had double tor****es if you used tape and you'd probably fall over. What else is funny, I'm well endowed but I look flat in a bathing suit unless there is support....Double bras? What a pain!
Hey, we'll have to check out the guys and see if they are talking about double jock straps and such. What a hoot that would be.

Double bras isn't such a pain...........I run with 'em. It's better than the pain of them bouncing around.
I just don't wanna stretch anything! God, I can't imagine wearing a bra sleeping too.....If I have to choose between soccer and saving my boobs, I choose boobs!

The most supportive thing I've got at the moment isn't a bra at all. It's a Nike crop top, about a size smaller than I actually wear, and when it's on, nothing moves. Plus, if I get really sweaty, I can strip down to it without raising eyebrowns. It's an odd design - midrife baring, but with a collar.

You know, I'm so glad I didn't go braless, especially during pregnancy - wow! Hee! Hee! I'd be hanging. Gawd, I got up to a size 44 D when I "tried" to nurse. I even wear a bra at night. No sag. Of course when I go through menopause might be different. Time for augmentation!

Try looking at websites that sell stuff for people who ride horses- they have really good, comfy bras. Try www.statelinetack.com or www.doversaddlery.com
