Hypersaturation
Can someone tell me how drinking twice your normal amount of water for a few days a week before your contest or photo shoot and then reducing it in half for a few days right before helps with getting rid of excess water? I've heard a little info on this but no details. Some instructions on this would be helpful too. I've heard this is an alternative to cutting way back on water consumption. Thanks in advance.

why don't you just cut your water out at about midday the day before. it's not that hard bro and by the end of your day if you start getting thirsty drink small amounts of water. It's not going to damage your physique and even if it did (which would be minimally) it's only a photo shoot not a contest.
