Can you stimulate both types of hypertrophies at once? An example would be something like:
65% of max or so
3x8 Barbell Curls 60lbs
3x8 French Presses 60lbs
Alt. Dumbell Curls 30lbs 3x6
Behind the Head Tricep Extensions 30lbs 3x6
(Some other bodypart work)
80% of max or so
3x3 Barbell Curls
3x3 French Presses
3x2 Alt. Dumbell Curls
3x2 Behind the Head Tricep Extensions
Wouldn't this create more mass because both the sarcoplasma and myofibrill are getting larger at once? (along with better strength/endurance gains)
If not, why not?
I was just doing research about the two kinds of hypertrophy today and this question popped into my head.

Sarcomplasmic and Myofibrillar Hypertrophy
If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your
mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest or some guy on TV telling you how to
do your ****, then YOU DESERVE IT.

Resistance training can contribute to both sarcoplasmic and myofibrillar fiber hypertrophy. Depending on the volume and intensity of training performed, one type of fiber hypertrophy may dominate over the other.

I dont think you can get the best of both worlds. Im not sure though. Try cycling your training between the two.
