I'm tryin to gain weight and doing cardio work will definitly set me back since im an ecto. Is it really bad for your health to not be doing any real cardio?
the heart is VEEEERY important and cardio is great for the heart!
Try playing a running sport, like football, or American Football, Rugby, something, which means you've got to RUN!!
Just don't over do it lol. You can burn of calories, and bbing is all about eating more calories in the day then your body burns off, so that you can bulk up, so if you run too much, it's kinda hard to bulk if you know what I mean.
20 minutes 3x a week tops is good. You have to remember the heart is a muscle and it also can get bigger. And because of that it can atrophy. You certainly don't want a weak heart right? That nonsense about not doing cardio while bulking is stupid. your heart needs to be handle the extra weight you put on. Just eat more when you do cardio.
