What is considered big to you?

What do you guys consider "big" in refrence to body parts. We all know that Arnold, Yates, Cutler etc are big. Im looking for everyday guys here.

For example when I see guys with 17" arms Im impressed. I know alot of it has to do with body habitus but a 17" arm is nothing to sneeze at.

What do you guys think?

It all depends on your current viewpoint. I remember when I was 80pds I thought like 12'' arms were MASSIVE. Now that i'm sitting close to 19'' I view anything under 20 as 'okay, but could be larger'.

i guess to me big is like 5'7 300pds, haha, so not exactly the model to use

5'6 230 ripped is big. Lee priest is only about 210 or so ripped and hes 5'4 with 20 inch guns i believe.

Exactly, I couldn't have put it better myself. (well maybe )

My viewpoints have changed a lot over the years. I remember I thought I would be satisfied with 15" arms, and then when I reached it, I felt that in no way was 15" arms satisfying lol. So far every inch I have gained hasn't satisfied me yet.

So it all comes down to how you view yourself, IMO you judge others by comparing them and yourself.

Someone who has enough muscle to see, with some to spare is "big". I.E. 16'' arms are pretty uncommon in the non-bb world, so I consider it "big". Also, if you look at someone and say "Ah. I think s/he works out".

Mine are just over 18' and I'm pretty displeased with them because they're mostly tricep. Depends on the look your after really.

it really depends, a 7 foot tall guy could have 18s and be normal, but if a 5 foot tall guy has them hes huge


id say for sum1 who likes 6ft tallk, 17 and above is big

bump, I am 6'5" 268lbs,my arms are 19 1/2, chest is 63" every time I look in the mirror I say NOT BIG ENOUGH! I might be happy happy when i hit 300-3% bf....Well maybe not!

cause how many 27" arm guys do you see walking around? Not many.

and if 24" arms arent big enough to make a really tall guy look big...

I think 16+ inch arms are big.

Are we talking about big for a bodybuilder or big for a normal man?

For a bodybuilder 220+lbs if under 5.7, 240+lbs if under 6.0, 260+lbs if over 6.0, I would say thats big,

For a normal man anyone over 200lbs is big,

I read something one time that said 18 and over is considered big for bi's. But as you grow, so does your thoughts on big. when I was 165, I thought 225 was huge. Now that I way 225, anyone else that is 225 doesnt look very big at all to me.

Ever since I was a little kid my view changed. Big to me was being able to see a muscle shape. Through the years as you reach goals you go wow thats not that much I want better. I always sit back and wonder when people see my body if they go wow and I inspire them or if they go he's probably on roids.

****! anabolic 1 that is very good genetics, its time you get serious in the gym. Imagine if you busted you ass you could get huge if you do your homework. I'm curling 130 on a barbell and could press 190 for 8 reps and I'm a about the same size as you.
