if your not doing overdoing it as it is on your chest day...do like 50-100 pushups everyother day, that shopuldn't hurt too much. if you don't wanna do that...this is an intense pushup routine....try waiting 2-4 days after your chest day, then just do this.....10 pushups in 10 seconds or less, then rest 20 seconds, then another 10 pushups in 10 seconds or less, then rest 20 seconds, and so on untill you;ve done 100 pushups. If you can do that fairly easy, then gradually work your way down to 10 seconds in between your pushups sets. it's pretty damn intense. i'd say do that once or twice a week to get used to it, then gradually increase the frequency.

my chest routine is once a week incline bench press followed by flat bench both as heavy as i can for about 6 to 8 reps and then i end it with dips of 3 to 4 sets.
and for push ups i am going to want to do 100 push ups of push ups where i put two chairs in front of me and use my legs balanced on another chair behind me and going down as far as i can at 10 reps for 10 sets i did this yesterday for first time and i can already feel the pain the next day which is today in my chest and i feel like they are growing more quicker and i really wanna do that everyday including working out the chest once a week routine i just said.

but in general shouldnt hard gainers such as me be doing each body part twice a week because im an ectomorph and my muscles grow very slow biceps being an exception it grew around 2 inches in a couple months or less and the back is pretty big but the rest especially my chest, it grows very very slow it is very flat and my chest measure around 39 flexed only because of my back being big but the chest is small, so i just really dont know im confused on how to change my routine or keep it to once a week each body part, bodybuilding is more stressful then school.

Doing pushups everyday and 100 everyday at that is defiantly overtraining your chest. You are not allowing time to recover your muscle in the chest....you are basically breaking the muscle down everyday. Now if your a beginner and are seeing results from doing it, it's because you are a beginner you will gain a lot of mass starting off lifting but decline slowly. Trust me this is overtraining. Now just do pushups on the days you work your chest at the gym....how? Easily just find the biggest dumbells yuou can find set them on the floor wide grip and pushup to the floor.

hey, back around latesummer/early fall when I couldn't goto a gym, I got great gains from doing 300 push-ups a day... (I was doing pull-ups and **** too..)
man, I was a push-up beast then lol I remember pumping out sets of 1 handed push-ups like nothing heh *goes to try that again...*You want to beat me, don't miss a meal, because I won't. Don't quit on a set because I'll always be one set ahead of you. Don't walk out of my gym without leaving your guts spilled on the floor because you can bet your ass, I won't.

Doing pushups everyday is definetely overtraining. Muscles grow at rest, and you're basically not giving your chest a chance to rest at all. I as well don't see the point in doing pushups everyday. All that will do is build endurance. You need heavy, low rep, intense workouts to stimulate muscle growth. As far as doing each bodypart twice a week, I wouldn't recommend it. It may work for some people but in my opinion, twice a week is kind of pushing it unless you have a great diet to back it up. I myself am an extreme hardgainer but have experienced much better results training each bodypart once a week. You need intense but infrequent training and a lot of calories to grow. But remember, REST IS THE KEY because that's when muscle grows. So doing pushups everyday is the last thing you want to do.
