    weighted sit ups hurt anyone elses lower back?

    My lower back get way sore and ****, not like after the fact but during the exercise, when i do sum inverted weighted sit ups, anyone else got this problem?

    Yes i had the same problem too but then again u gotta remember u are addin weight onto your chest so its gonna hurt and its gonna be harder but what i tru to do is keep my back and my butt as flat as i can u should be fine once u get used to it you'll be alright.

    do weighted crunches ure back doesnt even have to hit the floor since u dont have to move more than 6 to 8 inches for effective crunches

    Doing full situps can lead to lower back injury. Just do crunches instead.

    its in your technique its hard to explain but ill try, i used to have the same problem

    when your doing sit ups and are decending to the laying down position keep your body hunched forward a little and keep your abbs crunched and tense so they are supporting your torso and not your back, pritty much doing this just removes any possible back muscle doing the exersize and concentrates on your abbs
