I have been working out for a couple of years, just getting back after a few months off. I eat a very lean diet high in protein and fairly low in carbs. I want to retain my abs, but boost muscle growth as quickly as possible. Is this the right diet for me, or are there suggestions for others to gain lean muscle. I hate the "bulking" term because I'm afraid to gain weight in the form of fat. Maybe this is a fallacy. PLEASE HELP!
1-Calculate ur maintenance caloric Intake
2-Make a 500 caloric surplus.
3-Less calories on non-working out days.
4-Minimize simple sugars (Limit them to ur PWO meal/shake)
5-Do cardio
6-Be pateint
very good poll question though, cause they are all very important, however "lean" mass is a bit different than simply putting on mass. thats why i voted chicken instead of high cals
