    1500 calories too few???

    Is 1500 calories too few to maintain my weight of 115-120 lbs. on my week off???
    (9/11/03) 5'8" 97 lbs.

    (12/19/03) 5'8" 125-135 lbs.

    Former anorexic in recovery..

    Jesus Christ kid, go get help. Like you've been told on here countless times you still suffer from anorexia. You're a growing teen and that is nowhere near enough because you should be adding weight onto your already skinny frame.

    1500 is too few calories.

    115 pounds is too light for your height.

    Being nasty is not really appropriate in this situation. I think you might want to reconsider the type of message you are sending in regards to your post....

    Anorexia is not something that can easily be overcome and he has obviously made great progress so far.

    Is it up to him to get himself fully better - hell yes... He will not recover unless he wants to recover. He has to make the choice. And that is not something that is easy to do and he is just going to have to suck it up and get on with it... But I don't think that you insulting him is going to help the situation and it is definately not what he needs to hear at this point in time.

    Hey Hardcore, if you want a real response without smart ass responses feel free to PM me, I'm sure Geoff and Emma wouldn't mind either. Yeah, you want to be eating more than 1500 though. I know it's hard to get that many, I was 128 when I started and it was definently a foreign thing to be eating 4,000 calories. best of luck! and feel free to PM.

    yeah try to get to about 155 and shred up you will love the way u look just accept the fact its gonna take about 8 months to put it all togather, its like a project think of your body like a car and you modify it over time.........

    really you must conquer your feeling of being thin. Like it was said in an earlier post, you will love the way that you look at a heavier weight. If it is done correctly, it will be very doable. The first thing you must do is get the notion out of your head that 115 lbs is an acceptable weight. I was at 136 and I was skinny as hell at 5'8".
