Thigh Shocker for advanced lifter
This shocker will consist of 1 exercise: squats
do this
2x20reps (warmup)
1x40-50reps
1x50-75reps
1x85 -100reps
When doing the reps bang out ten reps, wait for about 10-15 seconds (with weight still on back) repeat until reps are met. Rest for 1-2 minutes. It may seem grueling but the people I have recommended it to did gain 1/2 inch to thighs from that day.
It will take 2-4 days to recover. Perform this only 2-3 times a year.

i bet that will do just about ****...some people take things to the extremes too much when people say switch up with higher reps to shock the muscles if you were doing like 10 they usually mean do like 15 or so not 25+...also if people said add intensity sometimes that just means instead of like 10 reps 6-8 reps but take them to failure and maybe add in some forced reps, negatives, partials, or strip sets to bulk up the intensity. Some of this stuff though i just dont know. The only reason why people get away with saying stuff like this is b/c it is the squat. and the squat is the god of all exercises...and it triggers GH with reps but...if someone said the samething with rows, bench press, deadlifts, or another exercise people would call them crazy ****ers...o well enough of my rambling just my $0.02 on these types of programs

Sounds like garbage to me, why not just superset squats with leg extensions? Decrease rest time? Drop set squats....that gives such a deep burn. Youd get bored doing 80 reps. That was some ****ty advice man.

thats not a shocker, thats just a stupid routine...
with what weight do you do your 100 reps? the bar?

mosty likely thats all you could do it with.. that won't build a lot of muscle, only tire you out and make you hate the squat excersise.

THis has to be the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. You go ahead and od them and then tell me the results you get. i already know what will happen. This is just way to much for your central nervous system to handle and you will be overlaoding it severely. May take a long time to recover from just this one stupid thing.

try it
Why don't you people try the damn shocker, it seriosly will suprise you with how well the results come out. Measure before you go to the gym then measure 3-4 days after you do it.

Anyway if you do do 100 reps you wouldnt be using very much weight at all. and up there it said it was in one set so you'd be doing the bar plus the other sets you put with it which adds up to 225 reps. So still sounds like alot to me.

I know that it is very difficult , but it is an excellent shocker I have used it several times if you give it a try you wont regret it at all.

Well for one thing that is a helluva lot of squatting. But I can see what is trying to be done. I know that some guys do alot of sets of breathing squats, which are squats done in 20 reps. 3-5 sets seems to be the max, though. And the rest in between is like 5 mins because they are breathing so heavy. I don't really know about anything over 20 reps though...

good for you...
but i have yet to see any person ever do 100 reps on anything at my gym...
even the fat people don't do that many reps... Good lord, i wouldn't want a fat person to look at me and say "damn that guy doesn't have a friggen clue what he's doing"...
lol
