    Talking 6 pac

i wanan know the best way possible to get a nice 6 pac! i have a strong 6 pac i feel the muscles under my skin but i want to know the best way and fastest way to get nice grooves and about how long it would take! i eat very well eating cottage cheese and vegetables and hardly any fats at all! i consume daily 20% fat, 20% carbohydrates, 40% protein! im wondering if there is anything im missing and was hoping someone could post good excercises that would ultimately stimulate my abs the most! weighted crunches vs. alot of non weighted crunches? all replies and comments r appreciated

As for abs, doing fully body lifts like deadlifts and squats use a lot of core strength. As for targeting them direct, weighted crunches, hanging leg lifts, etc.

You forgot the search function...why are topics brought up every other day about the exact same thing that has been posted on this forum numerous amounts of times? Not only has it also been beaten to death on other sites and even on the main site of bodybuilding.com

the more girls u wanna impress the more crunches you have to do every night. Also 6 packs are so 90s, u should be aiming for an 8pack now bro.

Every body has perfect abs its just the fat that covers them... I usually do 100 3 sets 33.33.34 cruches on a Swiss ball, 3 sets of 15 knee raises and side bends with a 25 pound plate. and cardio

hanging leg raises are great for the 6 pac. I started out only being able to do bent leg raises, and now ive built my abs up to single straight legged hanging leg raises and i feel the burn every time.
But I have 9-10% bodyfat with good abs too but in order to get the ultimate 6 pac you need to get down to 7% BF.

Your total for the day is 100%, that's the only possibility.

so....20/20/40 means you are leaving something out.

    100% - 80% = 20% missing

if you eat 20% carbs, 20% fat, and 40% protein - what is making up the other 20% of your daily total?

just to elt u know incase u havent notice there is a search function! and if u do search hard enough about abdominal muscles u will learn that everyone has a 6 pac but only the 8 pac is hereditary and genetic! im pretty sure i got it but w/e ill try hard to get it! my top pair of abs are the hardest but they r the least visible, r they harder to develop?

Wow you must have not noticed that there is one either. This topic has been beaten to death on this forum, bodybuilding.com, and almost every other BB'ing site out there. Yet you still managed to ask the same question when the answers are all around you when you use the search function. I'm not one to flame or start arguements but practice what you preach.

Abs are made in the kitchen. If you want to have your abs visible get your diet in check and lower your bodyfat.

You know bro, if your at 9% and you can't see abs, that means that they aren't built up enough (probably along with the rest of your body) for them to show. I suggest you bulk up for a while and concentrate on compound movements whilst training your abs hard and heavy 1-2 times a week like every other muscle. Worry about getting them to show in another 6 months to a year.
