what is the primary purpose of BCAA supplements, to preserve muscle during cutting, or to facilitate new muscle growth??

Personally I would say they are best used to preserve muscle during a cut. However they can also be beneficial in a bulk taken during your workout to be sure a catabolic state is not reached. They're a good thing to be taking year-round regardless of if bulking or cutting. But IMO cutting is where they are most beneficial.

It will get you huge, hard, ripped, cut, veiny, big and make your man tool grow 6".
Seriously though, it's a compliment product. Used in conjunction with a cutting and lower carb type diet. Used ideally pre-during workout. Similar to BCAA's in function, but a tad different school of thought. As always, more than one way to skin a cat.I used to own things.
