The article on Penny Pincher's Guide to Suppliments recommends using Chromium Picolinate. My multivitamins have Chromium from Chromium Chloride (200 mcg). Would it still be recommended to use Chromium Picolinate? Are the two sources significantly different?
Are there any risks of toxic reactions or overdose if I take both (400 mcg total of Chromium)?
not at all, i believe u can go up to 1.2 mg without a problem. For fat loss u need atleast 600-800 mcg divided in the day to be effective. Works good for increasing insulin sensitivity and, surpisingly, acne
Chromium (GTF or glucose tolerance factor) will aid in glucose tolerance. This will be especially beneficial for those with sugars-induced acne. Take 400 mcg of chromium. ChromMate® is very bioavailable.
note the 400 mcg is only to treat acne, like i said be4 for weight loss u need atleast 600-800 mcg
