Hello, my name is Matt Brooking. I am new to this forum, so I did not know where to put this but here. The moderator that worked on this board as raprazant passed away this weekend in DC. His real name is Steve and he lived in Arlington, Virginia outside DC. At this time the cause of his passing are unknown, there will be an autopsy performed next week.
I met Steve in college at Virginia Tech back in 1993, and we pledged Lambda Chi Alpha together. Since then we have remained good friends through college and after. I currently live about 10 mnutes from his apartment and would hang out with him from time to time around DC.
I do not know if Steve was loved or hated here, but I thought it would be good to take the time to post a message regarding his passing here. He is survived by his mother and father. Steve loved body building, and I know he had a passion for the sport from watching him exercise.

Mod Note 4/4/07 9:30PM CST: We have been unable to substantiate this through any third party sources. All the mods are trying to determine if this is indeed true, but at the time of this update, we are not sure. We have been unable to find an obituary in any local papers where we believe rap resided or find his information in any phone books. Because this post was made after most business and state/local/government offices were closed on the eastern coast, we have been unable to get in contact with anyone to establish whether or not raprazant is deceased or not. Currently, we are aware of two people who claim to know him (shadyB and another user on his myspace profile) who report that he has in fact died. However, we have not been able to contact either of these people to provide further information since their posts were made. We will have more information on this most likely tomorrow during business hours. If you live in the DC/Arlington VA area and can help us search local sources (newspaper obituaries, county records, etc) in that area, please PM or email me and we might be able to establish sooner whether or not this is true.
