    Question Replacement for oats in PWO shake

    are there any halfway decent replacements for oats in a postworkout shake? its bad enough i have to consume whey water,the chunks/ grain makes it 10x worse.

    why dont you grind the oats in a coffe grinder? makes them into a nice powdery mixture....

    you could always replace it with dextrose.

    Or just drink the shake plain (I didn't like the oats in there either, even if they were ground up) and have a bowl of oatmeal when you get home - assuming it's not that long after the shake.

    Chunks? You're not putting cooked oats into your shake, are you?

    Grind up rolled oats to a fine powder (using a coffe grinder), and add them raw to your shake.
