Im Back!!! with progress pics... 330lbs to 230lbs.
whats up yall, well ive been going strong, and havnt been on here in a while. ive learned lots of things on my road to a good looking body. i still have lots of work ahead, but i thought id pop in and show some pics.... my before pics are of me at 330lbs give or take, and way above 45% bodyfat. im 5'-10" tall. im currently sitting at 230lbs and a little above 20% body fat. i started on a cutting diet, and got down to around 230lbs, then i clean bulked to around 255lbs, now im currently cutting again and would like to get to around 13-15% bodyfat, so i can get some surgery done, then im gonna start bulking again. once i get to 13-15% body fat, i will be getting gyno surgery, and a tummy tuck. i really dont have that much loose skin but i know it will be a little worse when i drop below 15% bf.
before:
not gonna post shirt off pics cause im still really sub-conscious about stretch marks on my stomach, and teh gyne, but you can see an improvement nontheless.
ive gained a decent amount of muscle since the original fatloss. i went from benching 180lbs for 2reps, to 260lbs for 4 reps. i have no problem with 70lb dumbells for overhead presses @ 10 reps, and i use 100lb dumbells on a flat bench for 8-10 reps when working chest. i originally started with 35's.. lol my squat has doubled, and deadlift has doubled. i feel great, and very active now.
current:
feedback would be awesome.
thanks

Great progress.
Probably not what you want to hear, but you will should try to get down to 8% before going the surgery route. At 13-15% you are still too "fat" for your skin to really snap back.
Unless you just plan on staying the the 13-15% range forever and not going much lower.

i really wasnt planning on ever going below 10% but i think the results of the gyne surgery would be better if i had a lower bf %

Gynecomastia, huh? It's a bitch. I'm saving up for surgery, myself, though you don't look to have it so bad.
Great job, though - keep up the good work!

Ya, see thats the normal rate for a healthy, good looking man...so yeah he probably will be maintaining around that.
VERY FEW people maintain ~8% of bodyfat for life unless they are extreme ectomorphs and believe me they wish they could gain some weight.

Preciate the good feedback bros.
I've talked with some ppl. That have gone through gyne surgery, they say that the lower the bodyfat the better. This way the doctor will need to do less sculpting via lipo-if there's excess fat buildup in the chest. I'm more worried about scars. But luckily I like tattoos, so I could cover scars up with tats. I have a few ideas of tattoos I want, to cover the scar I'm gonna have on my lower stomach.

You bulked at a high bf, howd that go? I was thinking of doing a bulk to harden my body up. My skin is loose, did it help you at all?
Congrats bro good job, keep up the good work.

i think i did the right thing, by bulking after losing so much weight so quickly. when i started i was pretty weak, and felt like i didnt have alot of muscle. i lost wieght very rapidly. i lost like 90lbs in 5 months. i ate really clean, but never counted calories. i weight trained for an hour everday and did cardio 5 days a week. the only supps i took were a multivitamin 1-day, and whey isolate. an example of a days worth of meals would look like:
meal 1 (main meal): lean body shake, 1cup oatmeal
meal 2: 8 hardboiled eggs (whites only)
meal 3: 1cup oatmeal
meal 4 (main meal): 2 chicken breasts & 1 can kidney beans (with some no sugar bbq sauce.)
meal 5: 1 can tuna w/ mustard & 2 slices wheat toast w/ no sugar.
meal 6 (after workout): lean body shake w/ 1 scoop whey isolate powder(added 26g protein) i would also usually grill up some veggies w/ some low sodium soy sauce.
i would cheat once a week, but i would not overdo it. a cheat meal for me would be to go out and eat a clean meal at a restaraunt, or eat some sushi.
i often made large portions sunday night, and would have enough to last me all week. like i would grill up 10 breasts for the whole week to take to work. i would often make turkey chili, in a large pot, this would allow me to eat all week without having to cook everyday. i made up lots of my own little recipes, like tuna burgers which ill give yall the recipe.
once i got down to around 240lbs and 30%bf i started to bulk. the weird thing is when i began eating around 4000cals a day, and stopped cardio totally, i lost another 5lbs. i began strict weight training for 3 months. the second week i started gaining weight fairly rapidly. i packed on about 2lbs a week and started to plateau around my 12th month of bulking and was around 26%bf. i ended up dropping from 30%bf down to 26%bf at the end of the bulk, my ending weight was right around 257. so i prolly put on about 30lbs if actual muscle seeing as i lost some fat during my bulk. ive now been cutting for about a month and ive gone down to 20%bf. right now i do 30mins of cardio and keep my heart rate around 150-160 the entire time. i dont run, i usually use the stair machine or the treadmill(at the highest incline). i feel like i work my legs better when i do this as opposed to jogging. but it could just be in my mind.
i currently weigh 228lbs as of last night (4/4/07). i would like to get to 13% body fat or lower, i havnt set a time, cause i really dont care how long it takes. i feel my body will lose it however fast it wants, and i dont want to strain myself too hard, or eat too little then feel weak. i also dont want to overtrain and end up getting injured. so ill keep on the path at which ive been goin (which has far exceeded my expectations so far.)
here how i make tuna burgers:
10-12oz. cans of tuna (drained)
1 packet liptons onion soup mix
6pcs whole wheat bread
10 egg whites
mash all that **** together really good. then take a handful and mash it into a patti. a patti should be about 5" diameter, and 1/2" thick. i would then place the patti's into the jeorge foreman grill (this thing kiks a$$ and i recommend a foreman grill to everyone) when they are dark brown on both sides, they're done. i would eat this burger on whole wheat buns (no sugar) and usually use mustard/ketchup for condiments. easy enough to make, and tastes awesome.
