Protein Powder/Syntrax Isomatrax

Tried another protein from Syntrax, Isomatrax Chocolate Hurricane.

All I know is that it taste great!! Know how you sometimes dread chugging down your shake, not this stuff.

Still like the Syntrax Nector the best, this stuff is like a treat.

Trish, I believe you were getting some of this to try, what did you think??

Charger...I got the Nectar in Fuzzy Navel.
It is awesome. The best protein pwd I have ever tasted. And when you think about it, the price is not too bad. You only use one scoop per serving, compared to alot that require 2 scoops.

LOL -- I'll have to look up the Nectar. I don't know about fuzzy navel, though. I never liked the alcoholic beverages with that name. I love peaches -- just apparently not in drink form. It does come in other flavors, doesn't it?

After the holidays, when I had become accustomed to 7 weeks of no exercise & no protein shake drinking -- the first time I had one, all I could think was Blech!! Guess I was too used to hot chocolate and the like.

Just looked up the Nectar -- Strawberry Kiwi sounds like a flavor I would like.

Charger, is the Chocolate Hurricane a lighter looking chocolate? I don't like real dark chocolate.

Light and sweet! Not dark at all.
The Fuzzy Naval is more of a citrus taste. I have it with my morning break.
Glad you liked it Trish, this is completely different than any other protein out there, atleast that I know about.

Glad to hear it Hib .. I was going to ask you in your thread but you beat me to the punch .. now lets completely hijack Chargers thread .. how long have you been using it ? Have you noticed any changes in either strength or pump ? When I was using it, I almost immediately felt more of a pump, strength gains were slow to come but they did come !

Yes, definitely in the pump. I feel more energetic & like I have great stamina in my workouts also. It's hard to know about strength gains yet as I just started working out again this past week after about a 7 week break. I figured it may be working already as I have been able to stick with my routine this week, despite the long break. I have gained 1.4lbs so far though while cutting.

Giant, heres my 2 cent, depending on your budget. If it's like mine, pick up some Isomatrix and some ON. The ON is cheaper but taste wise, not even close. I got some of the vanilla Iso and mixed it scoop for scoop with ON, this was really good! For a treat get some Nector, this stuff really is like candy, you can eat it plain right out of the jug, no ****. No carbs either if you are cutting.
Then pick up the swoleV2. It has been getting better rating on the supps board. I lurked a bit and have noticed a big advantage going to swoleV2 over V12. To be honest, I have never tried V-12 but I can tell you swole works. My next go around of GVT I am getting more.

I purchased the swole and the nectar last nite .. it should be here soon ... I have a jug of the ON in my kitchen .. I don't like the taste but I'll give your "recipe" a try ! Thanks !

I believe the Nectar is just Whey so take that after your workouts. A cheaper thing is to use ON 100% Whey and a scoop of orange Gatorade powder mixed in water. Taste like a creamcicle. Just a extra way to go.
Isomatrix is a blend of proteins, slower digesting, so use that at night before bed........agreed?

Giant, I am sure you know but anyone who may not, to get the full affect, make sure and increase your water intake.

Hurricanes_ agreed, best as a afternoon meal replacement or before bed. Whey is the best post workout.

Big D, as a session, you are talking a workout correct?? I used to enjoy a cig after another kind of session,lol
I usually chug down some ON post workout. After that I go with a blend in the afternoon. Nector for morning break. This stuff really rocks!! I need to try some other flavors, but the Fuzzy Naval is really good. It's like a treat.

Yes Charger, I am talking workout session. I used to smoke but I can honestly say that I never got anything out of the post romp smoke. Woulda rather done some more rompin'
