Drinking Cement?

ok, now don't think i'm weird or anything, but i found this a little strange..I was talking to this huge guy at the gym earlier today and he was huge..i think he was about 6'3 280lbs. and solid muscle and pretty ripped..he said that for the past year, he's been mixing one tablespoon of dry cement with his protein and drinking it..he said his arms went up 3.5" in the past year since taking it and he says he has rock solid arms/forearms/abs all day long. can anyone attest to this because i find this quite odd.

yeah im sure cause i saw him talking with one of the trainers first, then i kinda overheard their convo and kinda bumped in..he was definitely being serious

I dont think that a tsp would be lethal, but I also fail to see any nutritional benifits in bloody cement either. Perhaps it is slang for his gear, who knows! He definatly isnt using it in the literal sense, or being serious. That is just strange!

drinking cement can cause lot of helth problem, and im sure that cement is not utilized by the body in any way.
please give him advice to stop.....or till him you will die soon

If he wasn't skilled in acting (some people are very, very convincing), then he may have the disorder named "pica." People who have this disorder eat things like paint chips, dirt, and other non-food stuff.

I vaguely remember that the medicos belive the condition is due to a severe mineral or vitamin deficiency.

But, considering he's a bodybuilder and is huge, it's almost 100% certain that he was pulling your leg. I mean, c'mon, "arms of cement?" Doesn't that sound just too ego-boosting for him to be anything except a big ol' lie?

I believe the particles in a tablespoon of cement are too gigantic for the body to break down and somehow deposit into the arms.

i do know if you work with concrete and you get it on your skin to much,,it will poison you, eating it would probly cause a blockage,at the least if your lucky

Cement contains silicates which are a known carcinogen...maybe he is so hard due to the development of tumors that happened to apppear is favorable places!

(If that really does work I am gonna do a transdermal injection of cement into my penis)

Trainer: Yea I hate how these stupid shakes mix so thick. Its friggin hard to drink

Guy: Yea, I take 1 scoop of protein powder, and 1 scoop of cement mix, It really helps hahah ha

Trainer: yea, hahaha

Guy: O yea and it gave me 3" on my arms hahah

lol so true. It prolly is a name for some gear he uses. cement has lime in it=lethal. I doubt hes committing a slow suicide.

This is strange, i went back to the gym this morning and talked it over with the trainer..he told me that the guy that claims to drink cement has always been doing weird thigns like this..he said that about 3 years ago, he claimed that eating chapstick has beauty benefits and will make you look a ton better..im not sure whats wrong with this guy that supposedly drinks cement, but i do know that he was being serious and until i see him actually drink the cement, im not going to believe him

lol that wouldn't surprise me too much..but i swear, next time i see him in the gym, im gonna ask him to bring in the cement and i want to watch him drink it..I don't understand why he's still alive

It would kill him if he was actually drinking cement. Try standing in newly poured cement with leather boots on and tell me what happens. Cement has come very caustic substances. It will burn your skin if you have prolonged contact with wet or powdered cement and will eat the leather boots off of your feet ( check out a construction site and notice that all the concrete guys were high yellow rubber boots over their leather boot).

He is either pulling your leg or he has a line on some new "supplement" call Cement.

Then in that case, I am sure he was pulling your leg. I have friends that do that to people too.

he said it in such a serious matter, i mean i didnt believe him at first, but it got me thinking what if this guy really does drink cement? and then when i found out he told the trainer, as well, that kinda put me over the top..Ill keep ya posted on weather or not i see him drink it lol

Actually, there are a lot of people who do not drink milk, for that very reason. Look at Jack LaLanne. 90 years old, and I've seen recent video of him picking up his wife in his arms, like carrying a bride over a threshold - at 90!. He feels the same way about milk.

They are absolutely telling falsehoods as a prank. What a pair of imps.

Don't look to them for real advice, seriously. Or, play their game with them and come up with some of your own "magic" potions and tell them how much your energy increased or something.

I'd be interested to hear how their banter with you changes once they get that you get their tricks.

Yes, I know some people are anti-milk, it was just a 'for instance' of Arnold's playful sense of humour. There are probably far more people who drink 4-6 pints a day and build great physiques with it... I'm talking about the 60s and 70s, not today.
