a lot won't mix carbs & fats. I personally don't. But as long as it fits in your macro's, go ahead. I am a believer that a greater chance of fat storage occurs when insulin spikes (via carbs) and stores fat easier.

Mixing carbs and fat would actually decrease the insulin response. I eat healthy fats with every meal to control insulin.

Whole wheat bread and peanut butter, they are both very healthy foods, you can make it fit into your diet plan.

    Nah.

Stick with the PB sammich, it's more enjoyable and satisfying. It will also keep you sane if you're on a calorie strict diet. I sometimes try to sub my PB and jelly sammich for something with more protein, but screw it I say. That sandwich is the highlight of my day, lol.

Nothing wrong with a natty pb sandwich. Maybe add some
sugar free jelly too. Seems to me like pb on whole wheat with
a protein shake makes a pretty dayum good bodybuilding meal!
