massfx/hyperdrol/retain and hairloss question into my 5th week
Into the 5th week of this stuff and my temples have thinned out a little, at first i was shedding hair during showers, but i didn't really care, then i went to get a hair cut, and my barber said hey your temples are getting bigger do you want me to leave more hair there...i was like WTF.... i told him no just cut the way you always do. Next morning style my hair this is usually a quick procedure all of sudden im trying to cover up spots readjusting my hair its just not as thick....so i say screw it. day later screw around with my girl and afterwards while where laying there she starts running hand through my hair and she notices she has hair on her hands that came out...she starts looking closer and she says to me "are you losing your hair"....ARGGGG...the story doesn't end there i come home and my moms sees me and my hair is all messed up cause i just f#$ked and she looks at me weird and says the same thing...
Guys help me out...could this be the cause...in an act of panic i went to doc and he gave me prescription for propecia, and that stuff is expensive so i basically baught 1 months worth of 30 pills at 1mg each, and decided to take half a dose .5 a day cause doctor said i could take 1mg every other day if i wanted to. i have been taking it for 3 days now... could this be speeding up my unfortunate future...

Anytime you increase testosterone levels you'll run the risk of increased shedding. That's rough that everyone called you out on it over the course of 2 days. Talk about a kick to the nuts!
I use Minoxidil 5% while on cycles and it does the trick just fine. Other options are 2% Nizoral Shampoo (must be ordered online) and 5% spiro (online also). I have MPB in my family and have noticed some slight thinning over the years. So, when I run cycles of AI's or other designer compounds, I always utilize at least some 5% Minoxidil. You can find a 4 month supply at Costco for $20.
Many people use NHA stacks, whether it be DS's original NHA stack or our HyperMass Stack or ALRI's Evolution stack. Most notice no shedding at all. Others notice a slight bit, and some notice a lot. It just comes with the territory unfortunately when enhancing testosterone levels, and is very specific to the individual. Sorry to hear it's hittin' ya so hard.
Check into some of the items I mentioned above.

Will the shedding stop after finishing the Mass FX and Hyperdrol/Hyperdrol X2 cycle?
To the poster, you should look into using Nizoral and this one shampoo I bought at Supercuts that washes DHT off of your scalp. It's kind of expensive, but it does wash away DHT so that's good. I bought it 'cause I shed, but have not been on any NHA stack or Mass FX and Hyperdrol stack (just natural test boosters.) However, I do want to try the Mass FX and Hyperdol X2 stack very soon so this is something I also want to learn more off.
The name of the shampoo is called Nioxin.

thanks for responding guys, i wasn't going to let anyone get in my head but somehow everyone called out my hair in such a short period of time that it has literally gone to my head....don't know if i should maybe even drop the stuff..
minoxidil/rogaine, i hate that stuff buddy of mine used got some peach fuzz, but had to apply it twice a day, and i think if i had to do that twice a day i would go paranoid so i will pass on that..
hopefully the propecia can protect some of my hair and stop the thinning, i also wonder if the hair just falls out or starts getting thinner first before just completely falling out....
should i stop this stuff i have like a full bottle left of each still...

Yes, the shedding will stop after the cycle due to the decrease in circulatory androgens.

I usually just apply it at night before going to bed and then I wash it out in the morning. It can make your scalp itch though which sucks.
I would watch your hairline closely. If you notice any significant amount of continued shedding, then you should decide if you think it's best to stop. When I go on cycle, I find myself very sensitive to my hairline, and I find that I almost pay too much attention to it...to the point that I'll mistake normal and natural shedding for actual hair loss. So the psychology of the situation has a lot of swagger to it too. Just thought I'd through this out there.

Make sure to be aware of the Propecia side effects though Trent. I heard that it can/will lower ejaculate volume size, so I'm not sure if the reason why it does that is because it lowers your test levels or some other hormone. Not sure what it does, so don't quote me on that. However, that's just what I heard (that it lowers ejaculate size.)

The shedding will cease when you stop the stack.

Nizoral 2% shampoo SHOULD be enough to combat any scalp DHT that arises to cause shedding.
Propecia may cause the hair to grow back but keep in mind that it isnt an overnight process and will take time.
And like Biceps said, 5% minox is a good option, its probably your best bet to get "quick(er)" results.

It doesnt necessarily cause hairloss. Everybody is different. People that are prone to hairloss may experience some slight hairloss/thinning from the rise in Test levels.

Keep us updated on the hair loss, and if it grows back.

definitely... kind of pissed at the moment that i have all this product just here sitting...arrgghhh...i wish i could finish it but i rather just stop and not take any chances....definitely feel like it probably helped out...i have been losing body fat slowly while maintaining my weight...oh well...
I presume that the trouble with my hair came from the MassFX and the Hyperdrol...do you guys think i could still finish the bottle of Retain? The retain should have nothing to do with hairloss, am i right?

I have not taken any of the above mentioned products but i would DEFINITELY recommend stopping usage of those you've listed in your stack if you are experiencing hairloss.
While it may be true that your shedding patterns will probably return to normal after a cycle is completed, it takes some time... and more time means more hair lost. Hair lost is lost forever... Hair regrowth is possible with some medication, but it requires a dependancy on them (and consistent use!)
Since you're lucky enough to be at JUST the stage of thinning, I'd recommend several products that will probably help you get back on track.
Get a BIOTIN based shampoo. ('Jason' (the brand) makes a great natural biotin based shampoo)
Vitamin: Shen Min Vitamins are great natural vitamins that lower dht levels naturally and provide vitamins to strengthen/thicken the hair. (only requires two months of usage)
Nizoral 2% shampoo... once a week.
That'd be my recipe for you!

thanks, doing the nizoral thing 3 times a week but store brand which i think is at 1%...as far as shin min goes, im taking propecia so that should take care of dht levels...i would like to finish the bottles instead of just tossing them at least the retain?

Hey Trent, why not just bump your dose of Hyperdrol down to 2 caps daily instead of 4? That way you'd still be getting the benefits of the 6-bromo and that will likely decrease the potential for additional shedding.

Hair Loss Stinks...
I've been taking 1mg of Proscar per day for the last 8 months and it has helped my hair a lot. It's the same as Propecia, only much cheaper. It only costs me $1 a day for a years supply.
According to Dr. William Rassman, who runs the great baldingblog.com, "Propecia does not decrease testosterone. It decreases the byproduct of testosterone known as dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is what is implicated in male pattern hair loss. Taking Propecia increases testosterone by about 15% and benefit (although not proven) muscle building. Propecia can also apparently be used to mask muscle enhancers..."
I've been looking into Hyperdrol x2, mainly because they claim it doesn't causing thinning. At first I was looking at Jungle Warfare, but then when I e-mailed ARL they told me it would probably make my thin hair worse.
Last night I e-mailed Anabolic Xtreme and here's what they said:
"It's possible to lose hair with any supplement that efficiently boost testosterone levels, but we feel that the chance of hairloss with Hyperdrol is low..."
