Even on a high cholesterol diet with many eggs a day, your body only gets about 20% of it's need through your diet. Your liver is a cholesterol factory, and makes the rest. High "chol" levels at from your doc are from eating too much sugar. All the myths about fearing fat have been debunked. Lipitor and those other drugs block your body from making it, putting unneeded stress on your liver. Yes, doctors know this, their pocket book makes them not care.
