no cant see it happening. As long as ronnie competes he will win the olympia. Once he has retired imo only Cutler or Dexter can become Mr Olympia. What is Ruhls highest Olympia placing by the way? Anybody?

yeah now that u brought cutler into it, and dexter
but dexter lacks the mass
levrone also is a top one
but i reckon ruhl could do really well if he had the tris, lost the gh gut, cause everything else is pretty freaky

marcus is a big dude and he trains hard but i do not think he will ever be Mr. Olympia..he may place in the top 6 some day but his gut is huge making him look unproportionate. i think dexter has a better chance

his stomach looks very muscular to me? I see what you're saying though.
no no never Dexter. He is too small.

Not if I hit him with my car :P
Ruhl needs to work on his conditioning, needs to lose the synthol shoulders (dunno if its synthol, but looks really smooth, even at contests).
I don't know why people call it a GH gut. It's nothing compared to Ronnie's. To me, he just has really huge abs. They don't even stick out too far, they're just really wide.
-
Scuderia Stylez
well i thought ruhl's shoulders were an asset to him
its his damn triceps
how much smaller is dexter
bout 220 competition?
hed have to gain a fair bit of mass to comepete with the big guys

yes he is that small. !!!

lol, boy i wish i was 'that small'
he still looks awesome
but its not easy to just gain mass is it?, it'd be a slow process to ensure he grows proportionally and evenly and not too fast in one area?

Olympia judges typically do not reward Ruhl's type of physique. Bodybuilders with good size plus aesthetic refinement, conditioning, and overall development from the front, side, and back, such as Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Chris Cormier (at his best), and of course Ronnie Coleman, place well at the Olympia.
Ruhl is good but his back lacks detail and certain bodyparts of his raise suspicion - biceps, shoulders, and that belly button in past shows - IMHO he is good enough to win major shows like the NOC and perhaps even the Arnold Classic but not the Olympia.
Peace!

Scuderia Stylez
yeah his belly button is an issue
heard it burst?

for a guy to have never placed higher than 7th in the olympia, i dont think he can win. He could make top 6 at his best, but there is so many other guys who look much better than him aesthetically, and have the mass too, i.e. cutler

if he works on his conditioning and fixes up his shoulders he could break into the top 3...but i don't think he'll ever win.

Coleman got 7th place in the Olympia and that was his best placing until he won. He moved into 6th when Nasser failed the drug test but he still actually got 7th.
If Ruhl ever wins the Olympia I'll quit bodybuilding.

was it ruhl that said he only consumes 100g of protein?
i read somewhere where one of the bodybuilders say they consume very little protein as their body doesn;t need that much

I think Nasser said something like that. Me thinks he full of ****. He also said that if he doesn't squat regularly he loses size all over his body. WTF?

ruhl could build bigger lats to compensate his wide waist. he certainly has the mass, but hes lacking the proportioning.

I think Markus' waist is just too big to be Mr. Olympia. Ronnie may have a big stomach (although greatly improved this year), but you have to admit, Ronnie's waist is not too big.
