Really, the cards won't say how you die. They're best at things that are going to happen within the next year. Of course, if tragedy is going to strike within the year, it'll probably say so.

Gotta shuffle the cards.
Questions which are good:
1. Will I get that job I interviewed for?
2. Does that girl like me?
3. What does the future hold for my career?
4. What will happen between me and my current gf?
Questions which are not good, because they're so far off or impossible to determine a date:
1. How will I die?
There's no card that says "In a car crash" or "Having sex with a stripper". They will give the circumstances to a point--so if the cards aren't full of bad imagery, chances are you'll go peacefully.
2. When will I get married/retire/make my first million/become swole/PIITB
Think of tarot cards as a good indicator of how your choices will turn out. If I do a reading that says you'll flunk out of college, then you could very well decide to study harder and NOT flunk out. Of course, by doing that, you change your future. That's why readings are best done for situations that affect you now, and not far off in the future.
