I hear all this talk about sales of optimum whey protein going through the roof . Given that protein does build muscle , who has actually experienced gains in muscle size and mass that they can directly attribute to swollowing masses of the stuff ( whey protein )?

no one's gonna be able to say they gained X amount of muscle on protein for the simple fact that 99 percent of the people who take protein also take other supplements with it and I don;t think you can even imagine to gauge if you just took protein alone how much muscle you would gain because then to gain size you would be eating alot
but yes protein is essential for building muscleChicks dig big calves
