I never really noticed how much protein is in Skim Milk! I have been drinking one scoop of Designer Whey Chocolate, mixed with 20 oz of Skim Milk every morning instead of Slim Fast. I haven't really noticed a change though.
Do you guys mix your Whey powder with Water or Skim Milk?
Is that an OK breakfast if I eat a fruit or nut snack 2-3 hours later?
Here are the Nutritional facts:
Designer Whey (1 scoop) + Skim (20 oz) Calories: 218
Calories from Fat: 25
Fat: 2.5
Sat. Fat: 1
Sodium: 270
Carbs: 20
Protein: 30
Should I add a pouch of instant oatmeal?
I am cutting just so you know...
Thanks for any input!
I greatly appreciate it!

So... if I am using a 20oz bottle, should I do 1 or 2 Whey scoops? How much Gatorade powder with that?
Sorry for all the questions, I just wanna develop the correct habits early on.
Thanks!
use 2 cups water
2 scoops protein
1 scoop gatorade powder (it comes in a can has the scooper in it)
or 1 cup water
1 scoop protein
1/2 or more powder
depends on how much protein u want to consume...

As a general rule, use water immediately p/w and first thing in the morning, and milk any other time.

It is digusting with water that isn't ice-cold.
In the morning, you are highly catabolic - using muscle for energy. I guess it really doesn't matter that much (milk vs. water), but water will get it in your system faster which means catabolism will end sooner. I don't think it's that big of a deal though.
