Anyone know how much Fedor lifts?
Anyone know how much he can bench, squat, or deadlift? I read that he used to weight train alot when he was younger.

i remember reading that he stopped all weightlifting 2 years before he started to compete in MMA. if i remember correctly he stopped in 1999. so even if did lift alot before he probably can't lift much now. doesn't matter though, he's even better than Matt Hughes in using functional strength to overpower much stronger people.

If he trained the lifts I bet he would put up big numbers. You can tell the guy has some serious muscle.

He still does chins and dips and stuff, so I doubt that he's gotten much weaker.

sledge hammer work out is used for a cardio work out. Usally do it once a week for 10 mins or do it for a finisher.

Uhh.... of course he does chin-ups. It was in many of his HL clips and it also said in the same article that he switched from weights to body weight exercises ie pull/chin ups.
Do you even lift? It doesn't matter if you do pull-ups and push-ups. If you dont bench heavy weight (2-6 rep range) you won't get stronger. Same with back muscle, you need to do heavy row exercises. High rep bodyweight pull/push ups aren't enough to get the stronger in a weightlifting sense and since the question of the thread is how much weight can Fedor bench, it is the right way to answer the question. If I stopped lifting now and only did bw exercises I would lose alot of weight off my max lifts in 5 plus years even though my functional strength would go up.

Definite curl motion when trying to keep someone from getting an arm bar.
Not saying that they are the end all be all of exercises by any stretch of the imagination, but they're not just for show.

10x moreAlphaMale thanyou
all that proves is that functional strength > weight lifting strength, I truly believe you will be 10x stronger if you say in wrestling, spend 4 days of the week wrestlign and 2 weight lifgting instead of wrestlign 2 and lifting 4 times
