Another Motivation Thread
Some of you guys might be sick of these threads, but let's face it, this section is almost always filled with stupid **** like "squats hurt my back" and "my coach is stupid". Anyway, what is the best tip you can give someone for getting them pumped up for a lifting session? What kinds of music get you pumped? Can most of you keep one thing in mind while working out that makes you go crazy? What is it?
As for me, I just think of some kid who thinks he is all talk and no walk. Someone who brags that they have huge arms and don't even work out. Some choad like that, there are endless amounts of them.

You can never get tired of metallica and acdc, they always seem to get me fired up no matter what kind of mood or what kind of day i have had.

I get tired of Metallica and Ac/Dc very easily. And all rock for that matter. To get pumped, I listen to Three 6 Mafia, Project Pat, Notorious B.I.G., Ja Rule, etc.

rap
The only real rap music I can listen to to get me pumped is probably DMX.

Yeah bro, almost all other rap doesn't get me pumped either, only DMX. However that new nickleback song "too bad" is good too. Almost all Gun's n Roses gets me pumped like "Back off Bitch!" and "Get in the ring"
peace

i dont know about u guys, but i get pumped by lifting weights, not listening to misic, misic is a distraction, yer mind should only be concentrating on one thing, u know what that is, leave the music for when u get home, or in your car

I always workout the best when I'm angry. I have to be really angry though or by the first set I've gottn alot of my aggression out already. As for music, I like listening to fast paced AND?OR hard stuff. My favorite workout songs are:
Ja Rule - Let's Ride and We'll Be Right Here
Bush - Machinehead
D12 - Fight Music
Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects
Eminem - The Way I Am and Kim
Busta Rhymes - Break Ya Neck
I'm not really a big fan of metal although I do like some NIN.
