Age: 21
Height: 5'6"

BEGINNING MEASUREMENTS

BACKGROUND
Was in any sport you could think of throughout grade school. Was always chubby, slimmed out a little my senior yr in high school and could have afforded to lose a few pounds. Came to college around 140 fearing gaining the freshman 15 and came across Body For Life. Lost 20 lbs in 2 years?got a little smarter about weight lifting and eating and put on some lean muscle. Ever since (I?m now almost a senior) I have grown to LOVE weight training and my goal is to one day do a figure show!


GOALS
I am looking for strength gains and muscle building for the wos. Also, my current goal is to add to my LBM while keeping fat gains to a minimum. I'm not quite sure as far as numbers what I am hoping for...keep low BF and GAIN MORE MUSCLE.... I will be starting reverse pyramid training along with the Ragnarok

LIFTING/CARDIO SCHEDULE
Monday: chest/shoulders/cardio
Tuesday: bis/tris/abs
Wednesday: off, cardio possible
Thursday: legs/abs
Friday: back/calves/cardio
Saturday: cardio
Sunday: off

Lifting routines/splits and cardio may be altered depending on my schedule?.I?m a very early gym-goer and after the gym?my days are completely crazy as I am a resident assistant in the dorm, a full-time student, and I hold exectutive positions in 2 organizations on campus?.TIME IS EVERYTHING!!!....I will be posting them daily so please be aware this is not set in stone!


NUTRITION
I swing daily and weekly calories ? ranges between 1700-2400.
Macros fall in around 20/40/40 f/c/p or 30/30/40. I eat between 4-6x/day
The foods I eat typically do not vary much and are as follows:


PROTEINS

egg whites
chicken breast
cottage cheese
protein powder
fish (i.e. tuna)

CARBS

Ezekial bread
yams/sweet potatoes
beans (all kinds)
oats
other whole grains
apples, oranges, grapefruit, pears, etc...but not so much

mucho mucho mucho vegetables!!!!


FATS

yolks
nat. PB
flax
olive oil or other salad oil
salmon
nuts/other seeds


Additional: pre and post workout: skim milk, whey, and/or banana/ quick oats
bars if no time to prep snacks for in between classes

NOTE

my eating is a slightly different while I'm at school because I eat in the dining hall...it's that I usually don't get enough healthy carbs there.....but I have managed to keep this diet throughout due to my dedication....I only eat the chicken, CC, eggs, fruits, any whole grains (they've gotten brown rice and barley!) and vegetables at the dining hall and I buy food for my snacks and breakfast

this is my LAST semester in the dorm....so soon I won't have this problem!

CURRENT SUPPLEMENTS
Daily: Whey, fish oil capsules, multivitamin, glucosamine/chondritin, super-B complex


WATER INTAKE
Daily: 1-1.5 gallons a day

Monday March 27 2007 Day 1

off

I have come down with a cold and it's not turning into more flu-like symptoms.....fever and body chills/aches.....

I am terribly upset because I am NEVER sick!!

I apologize but I will not be able to post anything today because I am resting!!

I can't wait to get back in the gym!!! and start the RAG!!!!

I'm chugging water, the eating is fine, no problems there, upping the Vitamin C, and resting! (who am I kidding, I have so much school work and activity stuff, I could puke...)

Don't worry...I'll be BACK....and posting AWESOME workouts!!!! PLEASE keep checking in!!!!

until then......

p.s. my camera batteries are charging, I plan on pics and measurements tomorrow morning!!!

went to the health center....put me on decongestant and amoxocillin for sinus infection....should be good as new soon!!!

Unhappy figures....

I'm all ready to get back to the gym today and I SLEEP IN!!!

don't know HOW my alarm got turned off.....it was set for 4:45....I woke at 6:30 , looked at the clock and thought O CRAP!!!!

well...what can ya do? I'll be even MORE READY tomorrow!!!!

guess the extra rest and meds took over......I always try to fight it!!! somethings telling me to GET BETTER FIRST

took measurements and pics then.....will post later!!!..now eating and last minute studying!!! class at 8am......

I'm sure I needed the rest with the sickies and meds and all

feeling a WHOLE lot better....just have a nose that's running like a RIVER!! LOL


I was so glad I took the hour at the gym today, and my 2pm test was good!! I think I did well!!

no Ragnarok yet.....didn't wanna chance it with the other meds

maybe tomorrow start it??? does anyone know if I can take it while I'm taking amoxocillin and a prescription decongestant? I'm guessing prolly not!

I've done carb cycling and liked it...but it is tough not know what the dining hall will have as far as grains....so I'm gonna start that again in the summer probably

Nice workout! Psyco freaks huh? That can't be good.

What's in your decongestant? The antibiotic shouldn't be a problem. I would however recommend a probiotic to recolonize your flora to avoid relapse.

I don't have any probotics......on the sheet for the decongestant it says avoid any othernon-prescription medications because it may keep you restless, etc....so the Ragnarok being a stimulant, made me question.....? but I only need it 2x/day as needed, so I don't even have to take it....I may just take it hours after the ragnarok

wow....major DOMS going on

no Ragnarok AGAIN!!

Hopefully tomorrow!! I'm feeling almost 100% better....but since I wasn't lifting today, I was hesitant to take it I guess! SORRY!!!! I also have this thing where a Monday is good to start, etc...but I plan on using it tomorrow...I'm so sorry for the delay guys!!!!

my hams were quite sore last evening and this morning, and I thought, how in the world??? I haven't done THAT much cardio, no heavy legs or anything.....o yea...those SLDLs the other day..... NICE!!

Just did cardio, calves, and abs....I figured I should take a day in between lifting ....I'm sore all over!!! plus I only have about 45 min. on Tuesday and Thursday mornings....missing Monday screwed everything up..stupid sickies!!

30 min cardio
seated calves: #45-15x4
cable crunches #9-15x3.....swiss ball pass-thru...that's all I had time for!!



tomorrow I have to be in Pittsburgh by 10 am tomorrow, so I may workout at 6, or wait until I get back....
