Well obviously that was nearly 8 years ago... he just looks alot younger. Ever notice the bigger his chin gets over the years.

Why does he look like he has more muscle maturity then then he does now even though 8 years have passed and people just about always get more muscle maturity with age.

Yeah i agree his arms look alot more symertrical then in 99 and he is freakin ripped to shreds there i guess thats why the call him "cuts"

I think he had trouble keeping his stomach sucked in, but besides that, his arms are really defined and you can tell he had potential for a good v-taper as well.

The first thing I recognized was damn is it just me or does his face look somewhat smaller. I mean he even had a big face structure back before he was a teenager. Then I looked at his chin and it just looks totally different in my perspective. Damn I wish someone had pictures of his feet and hands from back then and then some now a days. I bet you there is a pretty big difference.

I think everyone looks too hard into this bigger chin/GH issue. If you compare his face on competition day at the '06 olympia vs. the '99 olympia, there really isn't much of a difference, aside from age.
I think everyone wants to compare Jay's off season face (which is much more bloated) with older pictures when he was compeititon lean. My face looks like a pumpkin, chin and all, when I'm in off season and I do not use GH.www.myspace.com/tonyvitale

Well he had just as much personality then as he does now....
It is like his skin as gotten thicker since then... he looked much harder there.
His posing routine sucked too...

You guys are totally right. Jay seems to have had much better symmetry in the arm department in 1999. I wonder what happened between then and now to make them appear so different from each other. Can anyone speculate?

if you look closely you'll notice a touch of gyno. i'm serious, look at when he does his right front side tricep.

From the back he has improved so much over the years. His cavs and hams are bigger and more cut now. His back is thicker overall. He looked slim from the side in this video compared to now. I agree about the arms tho, they looked ripped up here compared to now.
