I would assume it's coined the name 'extreme' because what they perform is much more dangerous then your typical sport (Football, basketball etc.)

No one died from those damn sports. More people died in ping pong. I think they only coined the term extreme to make it marketeball

Oh, that makes sense. That seems to be a little more extreme then falling 30 some odd ft onto your neck with the chance of a 300lb motorcycle falling directly on top of you. What was I thinking????

I've been riding dirtibikes since i was 9. I've never done anything more "extreme" in my life.
Find a someone who has a 125 or 250 racing bike, and go find a big tripple (minimum of 80ft). If you're still alive after the jump, then come back and we'll see if you think it's extreme or not.

I'd take a hit from urlacher straight on with no pads before I tried to do some of the **** skaters and bikers do. Trust me, i used to skateboard. Even ollieing down a 6 stair is scary, I can't imagine 20+. You're talking out of your ass. Take a look at this vid and tell me this doesn't take balls. http://youtube.com/watch?v=OjxNHMXQ9Pk

Old school means you have to be willing to get your hands dirty. It means enjoying the feeling of lying under bone-crushing poundages. Most people can't wait to put the weights down. Old time bodybuilders live for it.

you sir are an idiot. I 100% guarantee you wouldn't have the sack to try that. Have you ever stepped on a skateboard in your life?
