I personally hate those kind of tats. What's the significance of covering your whole arm in a tribal pattern? It masks any muscle gains and looks ****ty. Remember the barbed wire tattoo? Very 1998-2001 and now they're cliche and the subject "you know you're a tool if...". Same thing with this tribal **** in 5 years. If you're gonna get a tattoo make it mean something.

im actually getting my dads name,date born and date he passed away worked into it

that tattoo is AWESOME!!!! Is that down both arms and across your back too???? How long did that take??? I've got mine on my left arm and shoulder and in the next few months am going to get it continued across my back...Thats also real cool that your puttin all that about ur dad in there...Great Idea.

yea mine is gonna be about 7hours i think,was 3 for getting it drawn on by hand then the outline..the artist that did it is one of the best in uk long waiting list for her

its just from the bottom of my neck to elbow,i have another one on the other side

I personally find that kind of tribal a bit harsh. I prefer mine(unsurprisingly). If you're happy with it, who cares though right....

I personally like it mate. Nice addition about your dad also. Post the pictures up when its complete. I don't agree with getting "small" tattoo's. They end up looking pretty bad. I have a "medium" sized tattoo and i wish i went much bigger.

I don't see why people hate on tribals so much.

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with them. They're a cool design, and that's what tattoos are supposed to be about, right?

IMO the only reason people like to bash them is because they are so popular. There's no legitimate reason for people to dislike them.

It's a cool design and I really like the idea of working the stuff about your dad into it. Since you seem to be really into tattoos its a fitting way to honor him.

Personally I'd be concerned that a tat that large would obscure some muscle definition, but if its what you like/want go for it. After all, it's your body. Do what you want as long as it hurts no one, including yourself. (Heck, I know some who think all this muscle building isn't cool, but that won't make me put down the weights.)

If everyone liked the exact same things, the world would be pretty boring. I don't care for that type of tribal, so I wouldn't get it done, but others might not like mine and they wouldn't get it done.
