Born and raised in Jacksonville, Texas. College in Tyler, Texas and now living in Gilmer, Texas.
I coach football here in Gilmer, so I just started working out in the fieldhouse to lose weight and get in shape."Everyone has a plan til they get punched in the mouth" - Mike Tyson

After careful analysis of 3 gyms SO FAR, in the past month.... I have trained at Fitness19, 24 Hour, and Lifetime....
Verdict is:
Fitness 19 is good. Small... but good equipment, but lacking a tad with some (in my humble opinion) essential equipment... and eye candy :P lol JK...
24 Hour, I was disappointed at least in that location. The equipment is kind of outdated and remember from other areas of town that I used 24 hr, I think all the equipment is kind of old. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Lifetime was amazing with no complains unless you don't like large gyms. I mean, really, who isn't going to enjoy a gym with full amenities of a salon, wall climbing, various courts, swimming pools, and suanas. Equipment is all good... ok but one complaint, like everyone else... THE MONTHLY FEE!!!!
Anyone else recommend a gym to look into?Trauma survivor and women's advocate since 2007.

I can't recommend a gym out in Tomball, but I can recommend that you not dismiss a gym just because their equipment is old. 100 pounds on an old machine weighs as much as 100 pounds on a new machine and a 45 pound plate will always weight 45 pounds. As long as the equipment is well-maintained, you should be good to go no matter how old the equipment is.
I used to work out at Hank's Gym in Houston. Most of the equipment was as old has the hills and I swear that the leg presses were about 1,000 years old but I always got in a good workout at Hanks.
