Getting Ready To Do Firs Show In 3 Weeks

Hey I Am Getting Ready To Do My First Figure Competiton In 3 Weeks. I Have To Say I Am Very Nervouse Now Wondering If I Am Ready For This. My Body Fat At This Point Is At 8.5% But I Am Still Concerned With My Quads. I Would Like To See Them Come In A Little More. At This Time I Am Working Out 6 Days A Week.
And Doing 40 Minutes To 1 Hour Of Cardio A Day. My Problem Is I Have Always Carried My Fat In My Lower Part Of Body. I Am Eating 5 To 6 Small Meals A Day. First Meal Being At 6 Am Everymorning. Would Love For Some Advice On How Other Competiors Has Handled The Last Three Weeks.

her post is about competition and contests, of which a lot of the IFBB forum deals with, even if it isn't exactly the IFBB.......

Hey guys thank you all for letting me know I posted in the wrong area. I just made a mistake and have reposted in the correct area. Do apoligize for the Caps also. Did not realize that was a big no no. Guess we all learn something new every day. LOL

It's not a big no-no, it just doesn't make sense.

Typing Like This, Seems To Me, Would Take A Lot More Time And Shift-Key'ing Than Just typing like this.

The body can change a lot in 3 weeks. I would continue what you are doing and do the show. Your look pretty good. Trust me for your first show you look damn good actually.

Even pro's who have competed 20+ times constantly make adjustments. This is your first show so keep going these last 3 weeks, stay motivated, then after the show monitor how you think you did and what you need to change for next time.

Like Gargani said though don't try to lose a ton these last 3 weeks or you will look really really flat. I know some girls who have gotten nervous and just starve themselves and end up looking really bad.

Your on the right path keep pushing and good luck. Keep us updated on how you do. Where is the show at?

if you put caps lock on it just capitalizes the first letter in every word, not the entire message

Its not a big no-no, just a few jackasses on these threads that can't help themselves but point that kind of stuff out, must be a lot of english majors into bodybuilding. Anyways, looking great, good luck at the show!!

Ok it is toooooo funny we are still talking about CAPS. Back on subject I went to my posing lesson tonight and guess what. I WAS LOOKING A LITTLE FLAT. AHG. (Hope that was not too many caps) LOL.
Trainer told me to lay off the cardio for a few days (like that hurt my feelings)
Not to mention I had to confess to him I had pretty much cut out my carbs this week. So I am going back to two days with carbs two days with low carbs. It seems my abs was looking a lot better than. We took photos tonight but they came out blurry. Guess I learned a hard lesson this week.

Going to the beach tomorrow to take some photos there and I will post those on my site. Oh you ask where the show is; it is at the Panama City Civic Center on the 14th of April. I am entering the Novice division and the Ms. Panama City. Thanks again for the comments and the advice.

Why do most women get the tramp stamps these days?? They're becoming as common as the good ol' tribal bands. I don't like them...but then again I'm old. Anyway, you are looking very good. I think you will do well. Well acutally, you already have done well!!

P.S. I am NOT saying that you are a tramp, I don't know you. It's just the term I've heard associated with them.

For your information I don't want to belong to a thing. As for your comments on tattoos and recycled ****. Well I will be nice and say "to each his own". But if you must know my tattoo evolved from My husband coming home safely for the third time from war and it is something that has meaning. So before you go stamping some one as a tramp or recycled **** maybe you should try using that brain God gave you and not pass judgment.

Even though that's the only term I know how to describe those lower back tattoos I should have not used it, and for that I apologize. I'm just old and feels it takes away from the other part(s) around that area. And you have a right to be proud of your husband and I would like to thank him and other military men and women for fighting for our freedom. Good luck at your show.
