Whey protein after cardio????

Is it usefull? necessary?

I was wondering if i should take whey protetin after my kickboxing trainning, i am already taking 40g of Maltodextrine before and 60g after.

On the surface I can definately say YES, don't just take a bunch of sugar with no aminos! You want to not only replenish muscle glycogen, but provide any amino acids to reverse any protein breakdown thats occuring(and there is a lot occuring after a workout).

I can give a more detailed answer later.
