The site is as good as dead. Not a single new article has been posted in almost 2 years.

Yep, but they've done nothing.
Such a shame. athletes.com could've been bigger than bb.com (afterall, thier are more athletes than bodybuilders).
But they left it to rot, from the forums to the lack of new articles.Last edited by Uber-neggR; 11-04-2007 at 09:48 AM.

I registered there about 18months ago, looked like it was dead. I remember seeing scott's username though. A lot of people on bb.com do sports specific training, unfortunately they're limited to forums like bb.com, not ones which specifically target athletes. Then again the sports training section on bb.com is decent for certain sports(hockey comes to mind).

you might almost be better off making it a part of this site..
I also think that there is a need for a site that specializes in ADVANCED athletic training, there are so many sites like this for the kid trying to make the high school varsity, but i would really like to see a site for maybe the gifted athlete who is looking to become elite.the only site even somewhat like this is stackmag. i think there is a lot of untapped potential in a site like that
