    A sad day...

    Well boys...this is it...today i was diagnosed with mono. No lifting for two months. (At least this is what the doc said) Should i stop lifting for two whole months??? Anyone have experience with lifting and mono? I dont know what to do!

    That sucks, I had to stop lifting for 6 weeks recently, but at least I could do legs and cardio, but still almost drove myself crazy. Let your body rest, no need to prolong the illness, and good luck.
    Lifting weights makes me happy.

    don't lift!!!!!

    don't lift or do cardio, your splene is enlarged when you have mono! while it is enlarged it can easily rupture... if it does, you are in a bad way (and will be in the hospital for a while) be very careful not to get hit in the stomach too! my doc made me stop all physical activity while I had mono and I'm gladd he did now that i know more about it
