First off Taste: (9/10) - I have been using lemonade anabolic window, at first i just thought it was ok, but once i mixed it with ice cold water it was awesome and i actually craved it. It kinda tastes like sweet lemon candy.

The product itself: (8/10) - While i have been on this product i have had better recovery than usual i tested this out by using it 4 3 weeks and then i went back to my normal postworkout shake for a week. In the weeks of anabolic window i was hardly sore at all.

Price: (7/10) - Im going by AUS prices here so considering this its good by our standards, for example Anator (also love this product) over here is $135 and anabolic window is $120

Overall - (8.5/10) - I have enjoyed using this product and it is a treat 2 drink it and i will look into buying another tub in the future.

Three counterpoints;

1. The lemonade flavor is not what I expected. It's a bland lemon flavor. Think bland lemon pudding and you have the idea.

2. Using a shaker cup and ice cubes the powder clumps.

3. On a happy note, it's not creating an insulin surge. Such insulin surges, ala Anator P70, cause me to be extremely sleepy for an hour after drinking. Since I need to work during this time, this is not acceptable. Anabolic window doesn't have this affect on me.

i think that the lemonade tasted sweet and 2 me it had no clumps and mix better than my DE whey. I was using a shaker 2.

okay well so the results have left you feeling your getting a better recovery. So is that giving you more energy to train harder or not? How is your training going with it? Im thinking of getting into the cell tech range but I guess Im a little scared of the price range really. I got told that the flavours werent that great either, well the grape one anyways.

so really just want to know, has it helped your training and is it worth the cash

There is no grape flavor...Just lemonade and apple-melon.

I think that it is worth the cash because thats all i need post workout, b4 i used to have to mix up 4 or five different things which cost more anyway so i think that the price is good. It helped me alot with recovery so yes i could train better with it.

because there's a creatine in the powder are you supposed to take this with dextrose to absorb it? or is the whole point of this shake not to spike insulin?

No dextrose needed with Anabolic Window.
It already contains a special carb complex that acts as a natural transport system and includes modified potato starch, d-glucose, instantized maltodextrin, and trehalose.

i used this product and loved everything bout it was def one of my favs. only thing is im aussie and bodybuilding.com wont deliver any protein powders to us aussies. also the price you pay on some other sites to delivery to aus is a joke.

Really, why is that?Did they give you a reason?Im in Sydney and ive ordered heaps of powders from bb.com, with no probs.Never ordered protien powder though.

I think he meant you don't need to add any extra. 'billy.' asked: "supposed to take this with dextrose to absorb it," and I think his response meant you don't need to take the shake with additional dextrose, because there are already carbohydrates. It's worded kind of funny though, I had to read it a couple times to even think that - I'm not completely sure if that's what he meant though.

thanks so much man! i really appreciate that! i have another question for you since you've already answered my first one. i train first thing in the morning on basically an empty stomach. i eat a meal before bed, sleep for 9-10 hours, and then as soon as i get up i take 1 scoop of NOZ (nutra-bolics) and a pill form arganine (NE2 from Controlled Labs) and neither of them have any caloric value. ive only been doing this for a couple weeks, but havent been taking either with any sugar and just realized that i've probably been training on an empty stomach, what do you think i should eat with them, or before my workouts?

However, sometime ago I had tried Muscletech's Anator and the folks that sold it, would tell their clients that it should not replace the post workout protein and that an extra protein shake should be taken with it. Not sure that was the way to go but now my question is: can I take Anabolic Window INSTEAD of my usual post workout protein shake ?

IMO i think thats a good idea and then follow up the anabolic window with a solid meal 45-60min later and u should be good to go.

Of course you can take the Anabolic Windor (or Anator for that matter) and only AW or Anator.

An extra protein shake is not required or necessary. What should be done is take the AW or Anator POSTworkout and then, 20-45 mins later, consume a good postworkout meal.

I really like AW.
The lemonade taste...for me...not so good. Its not BAD, just a long way form good. It reminds me of leeks.
But I think the product is killer.

BTW- BigNY- nailed it. I drink my AW shake on the drive home from the gym, and aim to eat real food about an hour later.

NutrabolicsJon sent me a 5 day supply of AW - Chocolate! And the taste is AMAZING!!
Though, it seems that they removed the creatine content from it..which I actually don't mind..I just add my own mono in the mix and it's perfect!

I ordered from a website 2 NUTRABOLICS, ISOGAINER 5LBS a chocolate taste and a rasbery taste. Instead of bringing me 2 Isogainers, I have one Isogainer with rasberry/yogurt and I have something called Anabolic Window, post workout recovery and growth matrix for the chocolate taste.
I was wondering what the Anabolic Window, post workout recovery and growth matrix helps you with? Do u take it before the training? does it help u lift heavier weights? What is the difference between the Isogainer?
