i know this shouldnt be here but DANG 190+ pound dumbells wtf?!
http://www.heavysports.com/powershop/dumbell190.html who would buy that?!?! no one can curl that much ! i mean ****..
i know they could be for more then curls but what could u use it for... 190 pnd dumbell flys? lol

yes but on presses your ROM would be so limited as to defeat the purpose of using a DB!
it'd be good for curls and tricep extensions for some
DB rows
oh and one armed Deads
and farmers walks (for someone with gigantic freaking forearms!)
they could definatly have some uses but good god S&H on them would be like 50 bucks!

here's something more constructive
I helped a guy gain 1/4" on his biceps with 1 workout, and it was definatly volume training
eat that you buncha HIT nazi's
(also helped Jesin gain 6/10 " and Q gained 1/10th", also DoctorX2k2 gained 1/4")

and btw, I can Hammer Curl the 120's dangit!
March: 275+
April: 265
May: 260
June/July/August: 255
Late Sept: 245 (all +/- 2 lbs)

My gym has that exact set of weights. There are plenty of things you can do with them as alot of people have said, Im sure Kane Fan can do side laterals with them or something.

Heavy dumbells are a good alternative for guys like me. I get a sharp pain in my rt. shoulder when I do heavy bench press. Dumbells let me alter my upward arc just tiny bit to avoid the pain.
