Well as stated when I do my shoulder presses ,behind the head, on the smith machine my shoulders hurt like hell when I come down and back up. Could I have a torn rotator or what Idk but I can't see a doc for at least a week or so b/c of some things but I was wondering if there are any other excersies that I could do that would be as good as the shoulder press? well thanks for anyones comments and openions.
i've got a broken shoulder and behind the neck presses dont bother me...just go ear level deep.

yeah, as said before don't go so deep, when you do that, your not putting strain on your muscles anymore, but on the joints, which could easily mess you up
