you use calipers...you either buy them or go to the doctor...and to lose fat you need to do cardio and have a solid diet.

most accurate is to get it checked through underwater weighing. This cannot be done by yourself so it isn't as convenient.
calipers work ok and can be purchased here on bb.com <thast what i use>
there are also elictric pulse items such as tanita scales but they arent very accurate.
Finally you can measure yourself and plug numbers into calculators on the web, by far the worst method.
