That is where I started approximately 6 years ago. I weighed 340 as a freshman in high school. I'm gonna try and keep this short and sweet.
A week before the new year started, I made a commitment to start counting my macros. Since then, I have put on a good amount of muscle and have lost 15 pounds. Now that my upper body is starting to take form, and my legs are skinny and muscular, I have one problem: My midsection.
My brother took these pictures to show me that my left bicep is bigger than my right bicep lol. But now that I look at it, my midsection is wider than I thought it was.
Basically, I'm happy with a lot of the changes I've made with my body, but the one aspect that comes slowest is my midsection (lovehandles, stomach, etc)
I've been told that anything from ab workouts to bulking to cardio to cutting will get rid of this. Since I've lost 15 pounds in ~2 months, I figure if I keep doing what I'm doing it will *eventually* come off. I'm just looking for suggestions by you guys - people that have been here or seen stuff like this before.
*I've been cutting at 2200 calories/day
*I don't run as much as I should, maybe once-twice a week 1 mile+
*I measure my macros consistently and accurately

It's extremely satisfying to hear this from someone I don't know... someone with an unbiased opinion. Thanks. I'll keep up the work because even without the skin I still have work to do. Thanks for the comments guys. I've come to the realization, slowly, that I truly may have to have surgery.

Sadly my friend, surgical intervention is needed. As you get smaller, it will get a bit worse. However, it will over time get SLIGHTLY better. But ultimately without surgery, it won't go away. Take it from me, I had the surgery.
There are two thugs I want you to take from this:
1. If you have the surgery, you will be left with large scars. Very large, that are arguably as bad as the excess skin.
2. You are one of the few people who made the leap and stuck to it. Be proud f yourself. Know you will live a happier, longer, healthier life and probably inspired others in your life to better themselves.
It's discouraging, but only a bump in the road. Keep at it. Life has a funny way of making things work out.Aspiring powerlifter.

I researched tummy tuck vs laser tightening a little bit. The majority od doctors recommend the tummy tuck because it provides much more substantial removal, and is more effective for extreme circumstances. Thoughts? Btw thank you ^ I live around Louisville KY as well!
